KEEP IT CLEAN

Your mom was right. Pick up your mess. Put things away and you won't trip over them. If you spill something, clean it up right away. Clean up even if it's not your mess. It's still your safety, after all.

LET THE LIGHT SHINE DOWN

Proper lighting can illuminate potential hazards.

FEET DON'T FAIL ME NOW

Sure you look good in those heels, but are they the best shoe for the job? Proper footwear with good traction can keep you standing tall.

BE A LADDER IN SAFETY

We mean be a leader in ladder safety. It's not a mountain to be climbed and you don't get style points for most harrowing use. Make sure it's resting on a clean, dry and stable surface. Follow the directions, and keep off the top steps. Oh, and don't reach for things you can't reach. We'll let you in on little secret - ladders are portable. If you have to reach for something, move the ladder. Learn more about ladder safety from our friends at the Montana State Fund here!

EYES UP

Most important, keep your eyes open and be aware of the environment around you. Clear the path before you walk backward with one end of the couch. Is it icy? Take it slow and waddle like a penguin. Be smart. You get the idea!
