June 22 to June 30 Ohio celebrates Workplace Safety Week

Governor Bob Taft declared June 22 through June 30 – Ohio Workplace Safety Week. He urges all Ohio citizens to remember safety works for Ohio’s working men and women.

"All Ohio employers are encouraged to increase safety awareness within their businesses during this month and throughout the year," said BWC Administrator/CEO James Conrad. BWC joins with the National Safety Council in their National Safety Month celebration throughout June. The objective is to help employees take personal responsibility for their own safety, and make plans to keep their families, communities and workplaces safe.
