Group-rating workgroup materials

Since February 2008, we have hosted approximately 40 workgroup meetings with various stakeholders and third-party organizations to gather feedback and input on the development of long-term reform of our experience-rating plan and Ohio’s group-rating program. We made every effort to effectively communicate the recommendations of this reform plan to the participants of these workgroups. Below are the presentations that were given during these workgroup sessions.

We also hosted a series of meetings in June and July 2007 to discuss potential changes to Ohio’s group-rating program and the impact changes might have on employers, stakeholder groups and the overall workers’ compensation system in Ohio.

Below are the presentations that were given at the meetings as well as the executive summaries that were generated after each meeting. The executive summaries also include a brief synopsis of the dialogue among members of the workgroup. Members of the workgroup included BWC employees, representatives from the Oliver Wyman consulting firm, group sponsors, employer representatives, labor representatives and legislators.
