Reminder: Deadline for early payment discount for public employers is Jan. 2

Employer Services wants to remind you about our early payment discount. Public employers have the option to receive a 2-percent discount by paying the full 12-month estimated annual premium on or before Jan. 2, 2018.

You'll receive the first invoice for the 2018 policy year this month. Payment is due by Jan. 2, 2018, with no grace period applied. You cannot deduct the 2-percent up front when making your payment.

If you decide to select the early pay discount, you must pay all installments for the policy year in full on or before the due date of the first installment. When we receive the full premium payment by the due date of the first installment for the policy year, we'll credit your account for the 2-percent discount.

The discount will post in mid-January. We'll issue a refund of this credit less any balance due. The discount cannot reduce the total amount due below the required minimum premium of $120. You elect this payment option by calling us at 1-800-644-6292.
