BWC invites you to the NE Ohio Safety Conference & Expo

Earn activity credits for ISSP and other BWC discount programs

We're pleased to partner with our fellow business and safety leaders for the sixth consecutive year to provide a safety conference for employers and their employees in Northeast Ohio.

Conference details
Who: BWC and the Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC)
When: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18; Registration begins at 7 a.m.
Where: TCTC in Champion, Ohio - a perfect fit for this event with fantastic educational sessions, easy driving access & parking, large class rooms and good food
How much: $30 includes training materials, breakfast and lunch

Why you should attend

• Earn credit - activity credits for the Industry Specific Safety Program (ISSP) and other BWC discount programs, and HR certification institute recertification credit hours
• Thirty-five courses to choose from to help you make your workplaces safer
• Networking with neighboring businesses and meet face to face with vendors of the latest safety services, equipment and techniques.

Agenda

• Twenty-nine 60-minute sessions on a variety of topics with an emphasis on workplace violence;
• Five half-day sessions with four of them that count toward ISSP activity credit;
If one person attends two half-day OCOSH sessions, the employer will get credit for one ISSP activity. If two people attend four half-day OCOSH sessions the employer can earn credit for two ISSP activities.
• One all-day session designed for first responders who will train with Ohio's new Comprehensive Agriculture Rescue Trailer, also known as CART. Mounted on a 40-foot flatbed trailer, the simulator includes a grain bin, grain leg, gravity wagon and other training essentials.

Classes have a limited number of seats, so please register and pre-pay by Oct. 11, to guarantee your spot. On-site registration is welcome for an additional $10, but we cannot guarantee there will be space available in all classes.
