Delayed checks in the mail

BWC correspondence and checks delayed by the recent power outages are now in the mail. Benefit checks scheduled to be printed after 5 p.m., Friday, June 29, were sent out late July 5 via first class mail. They should be arriving shortly.

Individuals who receive their benefits via electronic funds transfer (EFT) are NOT affected by this issue. You can sign up for EFT here.
Note: While signing up for EFT may help avoid these kind of delays in the future, it will not expedite receiving your benefits this time.

Thank you for your patience as we addressed this issue.

Power outage causes check delay

As a result of the recent power outages, BWC is currently experiencing delays in printing customer correspondence and checks. This means if you're an injured worker expecting to receive a paper check this week or next, you'll likely experience a delay in receiving that check. This impacts any checks that were scheduled to be printed since 5 p.m., Friday, June 29.

We're implementing our disaster recovery plan and securing an alternate print vendor unaffected by the power outages. We'll update this page as new information becomes available.
