New workers' comp resources for Spanish speaking Ohioans

COLUMBUS - The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) today announced a new resource for Spanish speaking employers and injured workers. An information page now at bwc.ohio.gov guides customers seeking information and assistance on managing workplace injury claims and doing business with BWC.

Customers seeking assistance can reach Spanish speaking staff available to answer questions daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through BWC's contact center at 1-800-644-6292.

The page also links to Spanish language forms needed to establish and maintain workers' compensation insurance coverage, report a workplace injury and manage a claim. Among the forms available to injured workers and employers are the application to establish a new policy, the First Report of Injury, and requests for temporary total disability compensation and making changes to an existing claim.
