BWC Fares Well in Performance Audit

State audit focuses on five areas

For much of 2016, The Auditor of State (AOS) conducted a performance audit of BWC. The purpose was to identify ways to streamline processeses and enhance efficiencies. AOS routinely audits of state agencies, and BWC was an active participant in the process.

AOS recently released the audit, and it was largely favorable regarding BWC's performance. "We are continuously looking for opportunities to improve as we strive toward our goal of becoming a world-class workers' compensation carrier," said BWC Administrator/CEO Sarah Morrison. "The auditor's report provides information that will help us make data-driven decisions moving forward."

• Employer premium audit
• Fleet management
• Facility utilization
