Permanent Total Disability (PTD)

Permenent Total Disability TD is the injured worker’s inability to perform sustained paid employment due to the allowed condition(s) in the claim. PTD benefits compensate you for impairment of earning capacity. You receive PTD benefits for life.

When you apply for permanent total disability, you must attend an Industrial Commission of Ohio(IC) examination and hearing to determine if you meet the criteria for this type of compensation.
